A cheerful and the same time a thought provoking landscape ! Birches are my favorite trees. They are the soul of the painting. And Ms. Marion succeeded a harmonious combination of the birches’ vivid white, the blue of the sky, the green of the ground and the yellow on the background. The painting offers a feeling of serenity, enforced by the quiet majesty of the slender trunks of the trees. I would highlight as well the balanced proportion between the silent birches and the landscape as a whole. All in all, this painting comes with a load of positive aesthetic energy.
